IGCSE One-to-One Online Tutoring
Bring a difficult question, recent assignment or specific topic. The tutor explains the method, watches the student try it independently and adjusts the practice around the errors. Start with one 55-minute lesson.
Start with one lesson, not a package
Prices are in GBP for the agreed standard scope. Longer material, extra subjects, urgent work or specialist support may need a different written quote before payment, never an unannounced charge after delivery. No registration fee or automatic renewal.
| Option | Price | Deliverable |
|---|---|---|
| Single lesson | From £45 | 55 minutes of live teaching, a lesson note and practice priorities. No package purchase required. |
| 10 lessons | From £399 | 10 × 55 minutes: 9 hours 10 minutes of teaching. A note after each lesson; progress summaries after lessons 5 and 10. |
| 20 lessons | From £749 | 20 × 55 minutes: 18 hours 20 minutes of teaching. A note after each lesson; a summary every five lessons. Consider only when continued support is needed. |
Before, during and after a lesson
The first lesson addresses an agreed priority, not the entire subject.
| Stage | What happens |
|---|---|
| Before payment | Confirm the tutor’s identity, relevant experience, applicable checks, board familiarity, teaching language, timezone, lesson length and price. The subject directory is not a live availability list. |
| Before the lesson | Share recent work or a named topic and agree the lesson focus. Do not pay for a duplicate diagnosis of the same work. |
| During 55 minutes | Check the starting point, explain or demonstrate, let the student practise independently, then correct errors. Time is allocated to the need, not a promised number of questions. |
| After the lesson | Within two working days, receive a short note covering the work, remaining difficulty and next practice. |
| Whether to continue | Continue independently if similar questions are now manageable. Discuss a package only when further teaching and a workable timetable are needed. |
Request a single lesson
Send the subject, board, a specific difficulty and lesson times with your timezone. No compulsory diagnostic fee, homework completion or guaranteed grade.
Support Across the Subject Range
Enquiries cover 16 subject areas. Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel and OxfordAQA requirements differ, so tutor matching checks the actual syllabus, paper and stage of study.
| Subjects | Specific needs to discuss |
|---|---|
| Maths / Additional Maths | Working, method marks, algebra and functions, geometry and question interpretation. Include the working, not just final answers. |
| Biology / Chemistry / Physics / Combined Science | Explanations, calculations, data interpretation and written practical questions. Confirm separate or combined science, the board and the paper. |
| English Language / ESL | Reading responses, writing structure, accuracy and the task requirements. Include the prompt and word limit. Speaking preparation is agreed separately. |
| English Literature | Understanding of set texts, use of quotations, analysis and argument. Supply the text edition, question and full response for feedback against the relevant assessment objectives. |
| Business / Economics / Accounting | Case application, analysis and evaluation, calculations, accounting treatment and answer layout. Include the case or source data so the reasoning can be checked. |
| Computer Science / ICT | Theory explanations, algorithms, pseudocode and data handling. For ICT practical work, file format, software version and task requirements are checked before agreeing the review or teaching scope. |
| Geography / History | Geographical examples, data questions, source evaluation and extended responses. Include the question, maps or sources and the relevant study unit. |

What is confirmed before payment
A request is free and does not reserve a tutor or place. Subject, exam board, tutor or marker, material scope, delivery date and final price are confirmed before payment instructions are sent.
We provide independent tutoring and study support alongside your school course or self-study materials. Full school enrolment, daily teaching, a complete textbook course and official exam entry are not included. We do not guarantee grades. Confirm exam entries with your school, centre or exam board.
