Common questions before booking
These answers are here to help families understand the service before submitting an assessment request.
Do all tutors have to be based in the UK?
No. Tutors may be based in the UK or internationally. The most important factors are subject expertise, IGCSE exam-board familiarity, communication quality, marking ability and suitable availability.
Can students just use AI tools instead?
AI tools can be helpful for practice and explanations, but they do not replace personalised diagnosis, exam-board marking judgement, revision planning, accountability or parent-facing feedback.
Do you offer small group revision?
Small group revision may be offered when students have a similar subject, exam board, level, timeline and availability. If no suitable group exists, we may suggest mock marking, planning or one-to-one support instead.
Which exam boards do you support?
We commonly support Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel and OxfordAQA. Availability depends on subject and tutor capacity.
Do you guarantee grades?
No responsible tutoring service can guarantee a specific grade. We provide teaching, marking, feedback and planning, while results depend on the student’s starting point, effort, consistency and exam conditions.
How do we start?
Submit the free assessment form. We review the student profile and recommend mock marking, one-to-one tutoring, exam planning, small group revision if suitable or revision support.
Can you help with exam registration?
We can provide planning guidance and questions to ask schools or exam centres, but official registration rules, fees and deadlines must be confirmed with the relevant school, exam centre or exam board.
